Bangkok, 8 June 2017 – Nok Air and Boeing have teamed up to deliver vital supplies to underprivileged children in Thailand via Nok Air’s newest Next-Generation 737-800, called ‘Nok Veha’ (HS-DBY), which was just delivered from Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington.

With the help of the international non-profit organization Vital Voices, whose mission is to invest in and empower women leaders who are improving the communities in which they live and work, the airline’s latest Next-Generation 737-800 will transport and deliver more than 150 pounds of clothes and educational supplies for underprivileged children in Thailand through the HUG Project, the non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and restore children from human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse.

This is the second humanitarian aid mission between Nok Air and Boeing, which launched the first mission last year.  “We are proud to continue our partnership with Boeing in providing aid to the underprivileged and those in need here in Thailand,” said Nok Air’s CEO, Mr. Patee Sarasin “Our goal as a leader in the community is to help cultivate a healthy and sustainable environment for our children and next-generation leaders here in Thailand.”
