Singapore, 14 December 2017 –  The largest duty free retailer in the Western Hemisphere and Latin America is growing its footprint with the introduction of a new retail concept in Singapore. In mid-December 2017, the Duty Free Americas Group (DFA) will launch its first retail shop in Changi Airport, specializing in gourmet coffees from all around the world. This will expand its operations in Asia beyond its stores in Macau.

Léon Falic, President of DFA, said: “BLACK: Barista Coffee World (BCW) will be our flagship retail outlet for coffee; and Changi Airport is the perfect launch pad for this luxury franchise. BLACK BCW will offer a myriad of unique and rare coffees plus accessories for at-home brewing. Customers stepping into its store can enjoy a unique experience, sampling flavors from all around the world including specialties such as Jamaica Blue Mountain and Indonesia Kopi Luwak. In addition, visitors looking to buy freshly roasted coffee and other high-end brewing accessories like siphons, French press, premium Macchinetta and coffee grinders will be able to find such items conveniently at BLACK BCW. The store’s dedication to coffee will be unprecedented.
